Vinnie Talks His New Clover Press Artbook - THE ART OF VINNE - MY WAY

The Kickstarter is live now!

23-year-old artist Vinnie is a hugely popular artist in the fashion world, amassing over 450K followers on Instagram. The South American-born talent’s unique anime-inspired style has seen him work with brands and properties like Evangelion, PINKFLAMINGOUSA, and the band Bring Me The Horizon.

Vinnie is teaming up with Clover Press for a new art book, The Art of Vinnie — My Way, with the Kickstarter currently active! You can check out the Kickstarter here! I spoke with Vinnie about the project below.

What has the process of collaborating with Clover Press been like, and how exciting has it been to see this art book come to fruition?

Vinne: It’s amazing. Every step was pretty fun to work together with Clover Press. I think that this artbook is coming at a good time in my career.

What are some of your personal favorite works that will appear in the book?

Vinne: Most of my recent works are my favorites. The fantasy and medieval pieces are favorites as well.

How would you describe your art style and how has it evolved over the past few years? Rarely does someone so young see such acclaim.

VInne: There’s no specific way to describe it. It is simply what comes from the ideas I have. People say anime-inspired or Japanese-inspired or goth, but I never give a precise answer because I am still searching and evolving.

Why do you think your distinct style has been such a hit with the art world?

Vinne: I think people like fresh, cool stuff. That’s probably why I got people’s attention even though I’m so young. I try my best to get people excited about what’s next.

Are there any anime collaborations you'd like to do that you haven't?

Vinne: I‘m not sure. I’llI have to see what the future holds. I hope it’s something with Studio Trigger.
